Three's the Charm

This Spring, Weitzner unveils three collections in one. Balancing the glamorous and the subdued, these new lines are filled with sumptuous fabrics with an Opening Night theme, understated wallcoverings in a grouping called Forest Bathing, and beautiful textile additions to Weitzner’s popular Foundations brand. Opening Night captures the glamour and magic of the theater: The fabrics reflect the audience—dressed for the occasion and ready to be seen; the ambiance of the theater—with its vaulted ceilings, gilded details, and chandeliers; and the orchestra—with its captivating rhythms and movement. The wallcoverings are inspired by the evocative Japanese phrase for a particular kind of mindfulness: Shinrin-yoku, or Forest Bathing, which poetically expresses the practice of immersing oneself in nature, bathing in it with all of one’s senses. These wallcoverings capture the many dimensions of the forest and its restorative beauty. And our Foundations line introduces its first collection of essential fabrics. Like the Foundations wallcoverings, these patterns have long color lines, natural materials, and striking textures that can form the foundation of any aesthetic.
