SOLSTICE

solsticeA large scale twirling 18-carat gold leaf pattern is hand applied to luxurious hand-dyed glazed Japanese paper. <more>

EQUINOX

equinoxHandmade paper is embossed as a marvelously tactile bubble pattern, gold-leafed and then coated in metallic paints. Truly jewelry for the wall. <more>

TEMPERANCE

temperanceAntique gold is swirled with another color to emulate traditional marbling, but the textured Japanese paper, pinched and wrinkled by hand, adds unique dimension and a contemporary feeling. <more>

ORACLE

oracleInterior Design Best of Year Merit Award
This open fretwork with the irreverent rhythm is handmade paper from South American tree bark. We take this special bark and trim, steam, press, and splice it. Then we gild it and add a special topical surface to protect it. Its hand-gilded finish makes a striking statement when laid over a painted wall to let the color beneath show through the apertures. Oracle might also create a one-of-a-kind room divider if hung from the ceiling or placed between sheets of glass. <more>

LATTICE

latticeUsing the ground of Oracle, we again trim, steam, press, and splice the paper. Then we back it with a special foil. The combination of matte and shine is stunning. Three colorways: ivory, sepia, slate; all with silver. <more>

INTERLACE

interlaceThese finely woven strips of paper on a foil ground create an architectural symmetry in a very organic way. Gold or silver peaking through — a new and elegant approach to grass cloth. In five colorways — bold but also calming: terra, saffron, lime, sage, and smoke. <more>

ABODE

adobeThis luxurious, grained faux leather looks and feels like the real thing and was especially developed to install as easily as wallpaper. Offered in four stately shades, luggage, ivory, moss, and tobacco. Polyester and cotton faux leather, polyester backed. <more>

BEACON

beaconPlain faux leather. Leather wallcoverings are highly unusual, and sure to project a unique, luxurious sensibility. Beacon faux leather feels and looks like the real thing. It was innovated by Weitzner to be especially thin, and to install as easily as wallpaper. <more>

CASCADE

cascadeA flat-woven fabric with a softly puckered, undulating texture. Weitzner used a slubby, raffia-like linen yarn in the weft, and a shiny transparent warp. The weft yarns are prominent, while the warp glints, the way light dances on a water fall. Five atmospheric colorways: sand, moonlight, lake, dusk, and shadow. Polyester, viscose and linen. <more>

DELUGE

delugeA pouring rainstorm, as imagined in a watercolor: fluid, animated, light reflective. The rain motif appears to glisten on the surface; the dimensional moiré “moves” clouds in the background. An intricate, surprising effect made luxurious with three precious-metal colors in matte finishes: pewter, antique gold, or opaline. Silk and cotton jacquard-woven moiré, paper backed. <more>

FIELDINGS

Metallic open lattice-weave laid over colored paper. Weitzner’s fresh take on grass cloth features a glimmering, textured grid atop paper that’s been dyed in unexpected hues. The pattern title comes from farmers’ furrowed plow lines as seen from the air. <more>

FROST

lineageTreated paper. This pattern has an icy shimmer, created by melting miniature glass beads onto colored paper so that its surface sparkles and refracts light like crushed jewels. <more>

LINEAGE

lineageExtremely delicate yarns in the warp adhere to the paper, and a print of willowy, abstracted branches is applied on top. The ultra-fineness of the yarns creates an understated sheen. Five soft, peaceful colors of this “family tree”: snow, ice, platinum, gold dust, and golden. A printed rayon which is paper backed. <more>

MADISON

midisonQuilted faux suede. Weitzner is the first to introduce this elegant faux suede to the market specifically developed for walls. Made in a paper lightweight: a lightweight material with a non-woven back. Quilted in an oversized classic diamond pattern, it conveys a stately, formal chic. <more>

MANOR

manorQuilted faux leather. Leather wallcoverings are highly unusual, and sure to project a unique, luxurious sensibility. Like Madison, Manor faux leather feels and looks like the real thing. It was innovated by Weitzner to be expecially thin, and to install as easily as wallpaper. <more>

MEDEA

medeaLinen/silk blend look. Taking its cue from ancient drama. Weitzner intended this pattern’s character to be arresting. It utilizes modern yarns and up-to-the-minute colors to bring a classic Thai silk look into the 21st century. Medea juxtaposes thick with delicate, shiny with matte, and (with one exception) dark with light, in a sensual, dimensional, elegant wallcovering. <more>

MIA

miaAbaca fiber from the banana leaf and silk in an open weave, backed with colored paper and then magic-dusted with silver and gold sparkles. A lustrous, pearlized effect that is quietly stunning. Four warm colorways: quartz, sand, taupe, and silver blue. <more>

NOBLESSE

noblesseAn overall surface of sensual softness, with the added feature of sound absorption. Weitzner devised an innovative alternative to velvet wallcovering without the weight of true velvet. Lends a unique intimacy to any space; an ideal enhancement for dining-, living- and bedrooms, restaurants or other environments calling for elegance and tranquility. Six hushed neutrals from snowto stone. Rayon chenille. <more>

NUANCE

nuanceA special clipped technique used in this weave achieves a dense, fringed, horizontal stripe that is simultaneously two- and three-dimensional. Plush, subtle, and graphic, in three colorways of muted whites and taupes. Polyester. <more>

OCEANA

oceanaNonwoven fabric. Weitzner uses an innovative bleaching technique to distress the surface with a non-repeating fleck pattern that recalls weathered buildings. Suggested as a special base, the earthly palette is quietly striking, coordinating easily with other room treatments; yet standing its own ground. <more>

ORION

orionA dimensional jacquard-woven fabric featuring an abstract, ethereal motif that appears “there but not there.” To achieve the effect, the matte linen ground is raised in relief, while the seemingly elusive Milky Way-like pattern recedes. Three colorways: white/vanilla, white/taupe, and white/platinum blue. Polyester, cotton, linen, viscose. <more>

REGENCY

regency"An elegant faux suede emboss, evoking the look of woven diamonds. Four colorways: wheat, sand, tobacco, and blue-gray. Nylon. <more>

SERENA

serenaRaised hand-blocked print on handmade paper. A quietly opulent small repeat of a flowering branch raised in relief, rendered in gold or platinum against textured handcrafted paper. <more>

SOLILOQUY

soliloquy“Handmade has a soul,” Weitzner suggests in this serene hand-blocked print. Half-inch diameter dollops of gold or platinum inks are hand-applied in this quirky, imperfectly rhythmic design crafted in India. The richly veined ground (mulberry, powder blue, dust, sand, or spring) unexpectedly contrasts with the geometry of the circles for a whimsical effect. <more>

SONATA

sonataThis textural handmade paper is dyed and printed with a branch pattern giving the illusion of a traditional Japanese watercolor in the ancient technique used for calligraphy. Four “chameleon” neutrals cast toward cream, blush, grey, or olive. <more>

SYNCOPATION

syncopationPleated rayon blend. A soft, rhythmic horizontal pleating creates dimension and depth, absorbs sound well, yet is subtle enough visually to stay in the background. <more>

TIARA

Jewelry for the wall, this is an unprecedented approach to dressing a vertical surface or ceiling. The beads, arranged randomly, are hand sewn at one end to the tinted paper and dangle freely.
