Cartouche featured in Open House, NYC

Cartouche was featured in Open House, New York. Designer Mark Cutler used Cartouche on the dining room ceiling in his adaptation of the theme 'Updating American Colonial Design'.

Weitzner gets a Taste of Paris

Lori hosted an intimate wine tasting at Ô Chateau in Paris on January 20. The historic wine cellar, once used by Louis XV, provided the perfect setting for Lori to meet new Weitzner distributors and reconnect with long-time partners from around the globe. Guests escaped the hectic schedule of Maison et Objet events with a glass of champagne, hors d'oeuvres and a glimpse into Lori's design process and inspiration, along with a preview of the Touch wallcovering collection for Spring 2011. Preservation of Passion

This fall, Lori Weitzner’s shared her hugely popular CEU "The Preservation of Passion" with some of the country’s most prestigious designers and firms. Lori spoke about her never-ending quest for new sources of inspiration to enthusiastic audiences at Design Centers in Dallas and Seattle, Pei Partnership in New York and Gensler in San Francisco. Weitzner is now scheduling dates for spring for this engaging presentation.

Weitzner | Kneedler-Fauchere Pop-Up Atelier

LA's most creative designers, decorators and architects exchanged stories, insights and a bit of their own inspiration with Lori and fellow colleagues as Lori and Kneedler-Fauchère hosted this three-day event in West Hollywood.

A high-octane collaboration between Lori Weitzner and Kneedler-Fauchere produced an innovative Weitzner Pop-Up Atelier at the London Hotel in West Hollywood this summer. Like a secret rendezvous, this exclusive three-day event was filled with promise and spark for L.A.’s top designers.

Lori's Los Angeles hotel suite was transformed into a version of her New York studio, full of her favorite sources of inspiration, elegantly poised on tabletops to give guests a sense of her personal design space. Small groups of L.A.'s most creative designers, decorators and architects - no more than 4-5 people at a time--took time to relax, exchange stories, offer insights and bring a bit of their own inspiration to share with Lori and fellow colleagues.

European Tour for Byzantine

The official European launch of Lori Weitzner's Byzantine collection took place last month in Sahco showrooms across the continent. Lori Weitzner personally presented the collection, which was inspired by her experience of visiting the Hagia Sophia, in London, Zurich, Munich and Nuremberg. The new collection skillfully translates classic design elements of this sacred monument into an inspired mix of fabrics including plush velvets, ombré sheers, embroidered silks and sewn pleats.
